    COSCO Bags $100 Mln in New Contracts

    COSCO Corporation (Singapore) Limited has won contracts worth approx $100 million to build four emergency response/rescue/field support vessels (ERRVs) and two platform supply vessels (PSVs) of the PX121 design.

    The four ERRVs will be built at the company’s COSCO (Dalian) Shipyard and are slated for delivery in the first half of 2016.Additionally, the two PX121 PSVs contracts, signed by COSCO (Guangdong) Shipyard and a European shipowner, have been declared effective. The two PSVs are expected to be delivered in the first and second quarters of 2016 respectively.The owner also has an option for two more PSVs of the similar design and will announce when the shipbuilding contracts under the option are declared effective.
