    On Apr 1, 2014, at 2.25 a.m. LT the "KM Journey" sank after an allision with the passenger ferry "Lambelu" off Tanjung Perak Port in Surabaya.

    Container ship sank after allusion On Apr 1, 2014, at 2.25 a.m. LT the "KM Journey" sank after an allision with the passenger ferry "Lambelu" off Tanjung Perak Port in Surabaya.  Acccording to some reports, the "KM Journey" was drifted against the berthed "Lambelu" by current after heaving anchor, others stated that the "Lambelu" was undertaking anchoring maneuvers on Tanjung Perak roads when the "KM Journey" went adrift and was punched.  The container ship sank one hour after the allision. The 17 crew members were saved by other ships.  The "KM Journey was carrying 133 containers bound for Lembar Port in West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), some of which floated in the water after the sinking. The containers were loaded with instant noodles, and fishermen started collecting the packages. The ferry remained so far undamaged.
