Container loss off India

On July 20, 2017, the "Lal Bahadur Shastri" lost 20 containers overboard in pos. 20 50N 069 33E, about 40 miles off the Indian coast, while en route from Mundra to Pipavav. The vessel had left Mundra on July 19 and was moored on Pipavav anchorage on July 21. In the morning of July 25, she was still anchored. The cause of the cargo loss was unknown. The containers were reported to be drifting in the sea.
