On July 4, 2018, at 1 p.m. the 'Gammagas' was in collision with the 'Ersoylar 1' in the Marmara Sea near Sivriada 30 miles off İmralı Island. No injuries and no pollution were repoorted. Both ships suffered minor damage and were attended by the Turkish Coastguard. The Coastal Safety tugs 'Kiyem-6' and 'Kurtarma-6' from Bursa and Istanbul were deployed to assist. Both the cargo ship and the tanker were towed to Küçükçekmece Demir Sahası under the control of the Istanbul Bosphorus Traffic Service. The LPG tanker was bound from from Tekirdağ to Odessa.
