    In the evening of Aug 30, 2011, the river cruise ship "Schönbrunn" was in collision with the "Avalon Tranquility" in Linz on the Danube river.

    In the evening of Aug 30, 2011, the river cruise ship "Schönbrunn" was in collision with the "Avalon Tranquility" in Linz on the Danube river. The damage was considerable.The Italian ship hit the other during a turning maneuver and slammed with its bow into the "Schönbrunn" which was moored at the shore. The Austrian vessel was so badly damaged that it will be out of service at least for this season. The passenger ship "Avalon Tranquility" suffered a broken only slight damage. No one was injured.
