    The 'Hanyu Korea', en route from Ulsan to Jeju with about 3200 metric tonnes of bunker C, allided with the cargo m/v 'Samjin Lucky 3', which was en route from Seogwipo, Jeju to Wando, which was carrying drinking water, on Aug 15, 2018, at 04

    The 'Hanyu Korea', en route from Ulsan to Jeju with about 3200 metric tonnes of bunker C, allided with the cargo m/v 'Samjin Lucky 3', which was en route from Seogwipo, Jeju to Wando, which was carrying drinking water, on Aug 15, 2018, at 04.10 a.m. at the approximate position 34 09 22 N, long 127 54 32 E off Jeju Island. The 'Hanyu Korea' suffered damage to side shell plating of port cargo tank no. 3 and leaked some oil into the sea which was successfully cleaned by the Coast Guard, on the same day. The 'Samjin Lucky 3' sustained damage to its bow area. Ot continued its voyage to Wando, upon completion of initial investigations.
