    Collision off Cabo Corrubedo

The Spanish fishing vessel "Delfín" from Santa Uxia de Riveira was in collision with the "Nathalie Chantal II - BA 922635", 131 gt (IMO-No.: 9093191), on March 5, 2017, at 1 a.m. close to Cabo Corrubedo. The "Delfín" slammed into the port side of the larger ship, which was about to return to Gran Sol, at the height of Os Cobos. No injuries have been reported, but the fishing vessel suffered a crushed bow. However, it was able to enter the homeport. Also the "Nathalie Chantal" entered port at 3.30 p.m. The owner of the "Delfín" blamed the longliner to be responsible for the accident.
