The 'Amur' collided with Chinese cargo ship 'Xin Lin Hai 6' on Sep 28, 2018, at 4 p.m. after leaving Shanghai in the Yangtze estuary bound from Taicanq to Vladivostik. She dropped anchor close to the accident site before being ordered to move to an inner anchorage in Changxing area where she was moored in pos. 31° 17.53' N 121° 44.71' E. The 'Xin Ling Hai 6' anchored further offshore. Damage remained limited.
