On March 13, 2018, the 'Bizon - O 119' was involved in a collision on the Mittelland Canal near Calvörde. The pusher tug with its barge was coming from the Hohenwarte lock when it slammed into an approaching German barge train loaded with containers. Both suffered breaches above the water line. While the other was able to proceed to a yard for repairs, the barge of the 'Bizon', loaded with 1200 tons cement clinkers, was to be investigated on March 14 by experts.
