Both vessel resumed sailing under own power after having been checked by Coast Guard boats. The f/v reached Quanzhou and was docked there, the cargo ship fled the scene and continued to its port of destination Kaohsiung, having been en route from Fukuyama, and anchored on Kaohsiung roads. It had suffered railing and hull dent at port side. The fishing vessel was damaged too.
