    The ferry 'Blue Horizon' was in collision with the 'Blue Galaxy' at the port of Piraeus in the night of Sep 24, 2018, during the departure. The ferry with 493 passengers on board was destined for Heraklion, and the 'Blue Galaxy' with 603 passengers was headed to Chania. The 'Blue Horizon' hit the other ship at its starboard side with the port side of the aft, Both ships were detained until they were inspected by the attending classification society and received a certificate of airworthiness. The 'Blue Galaxy' left the port of Piraeus at 10.30 p.m. bound to Souda, the 'Blue Horizon' sailed at 10.40 p.m. and berthed in Heraklion on Sep 25 at 8 a.m.
