On May 30, 2018, at 4:45 p.m. the 'Hilir Mas' was in collision with the 'Teluk Bintuni' while leaning Pelindo II Port, Perawang, in the Siak Regency. The 'Teluk Bintuni' suffered hull dents and paint scratches along nine meters, a bolder on the main deck at bay 21 was dented, the railing at the port side bow were damaged along three meters. Various other damages were still being assessed. The Siak resort police launched an investigation.
