The 'Berezovets' was in collision with the boat 'Kseniya'. It struck it with the aft when moving astern while leaving the Obukhovskiy Sip Repair Yard in Azov in the afternoon of July 6, 2018. The boat sustained a breach above the waterline, the cargo vessel initially returned to the yard and sailed again in the morning of July 7 to a berth in Azov. The collision was caused by a master’s mistake in handling the ship.
