FRENCH shipping giant CMA CGM will levy a general rate increase of US$150 per TEU from India to East Africa from March 1, the Marseilles-based company announced. Specifically, the increase will apply to all dry cargo, OOG (out of gauge) and breakbulk from the Indian West Coast to Kenya and Tanzania, namely to Mombasa and Dar es Salaam.
