    CMA CGM ups rate US$500/TEU on outbound cargo from the Mideast July 27

    FRENCH shipping giant CMA CGM will levy US$500 per TEU rate increase on cargo from the Middle East to northern Europe, that will cover Scandinavia, the Baltic, the Mediterranean Sea, the Black Sea, North Africa as well as Central America, the Caribbean and South America.

    CMA CGM ups rate US$500/TEU on outbound cargo from the Mideast July 27 FRENCH shipping giant CMA CGM will levy US$500 per TEU rate increase on cargo from the Middle East to northern Europe, that will cover Scandinavia, the Baltic, the Mediterranean Sea, the Black Sea, North Africa as well as Central America, the Caribbean and South America. Called a Rate Restoration, the increases will apply to all dry and reefer cargo from July 27, the Marseille-based company announced.
