    CMA CGM upgrades its Round the World PANAMA DIRECT service CMA CGM is pleased to announce the upgrade of its Round the World PANAMA DIRECT service from a fortnightly to a weekly frequency, as from September 18th, 2013. The new PANAMA DIRECT WEEKLY service will offer an extensive coverage of the trade with 20 ports of call. Thanks to its integration in CMA CGM global network, this upgraded service will serve 15 different markets such as Australia, New Zealand, South Pacific Islands, Central and South America, the Caribbean, North America (USEC), North Europe, the Baltic, Mediterranean, North Africa, Black Sea, etc.It will also, offer the fastest transit from Australia and New Zealand to Europe, a serious advantage for reefer shippers and UK Tilbury Wednesday call will allow fast delivery to final destinations for time sensitive cargo such as fresh products.As from September 18th 2013, with CMA CGM MANET in Tilbury, the PANAMA DIRECT Service will be operated along the following schedule:Tilbury (Wed) – Rotterdam (Thu) – Dunkirk (Sat) – Le Havre (Sun) – New York (Tue) – Savannah (Fri) – Kingston (Mon) – Cartagena (Wed) – Papeete (Tue) – Lautoka (Mon) – Noumea (Thu) – Sydney (Mon) – Melbourne (Wed) – Tauranga (Tue) – Napier (Thu) – Lyttelton (Fri) - Panama Canal – Manzanillo, PA (Sun) – Kingston (Tue) – Savannah (Fri) – Philadelphia (Mon) – Tilbury.  Xavier Eiglier, Vice President CMA CGM Antilles Guyane, Oceania and Indian Ocean lines declares: “The upgrade of the PANAMA DIRECT service confirms CMA CGM’s intention to meet its customer’s expectation through the provision of an even more reliable service with an extensive coverage and fastest transit times.”
