    FRENCH shipping giant CMA CGM has announced a port congestion surcharge of US$150 per dry or reefer TEU from all ports to Kribi, Cameroon, effective from February 1. While effective from that date, it will also apply from the February 22 loading date in ports in the US, US territories and Canada.

    Latin American point of origin will be subject to further notice.

    There will be a CMA CGM empty equipment imbalance charge of $100 per dry, reefer or outsize box from Turkey to West Africa with immediate effect until further notice.
