FRENCH shipping giant CMA CGM has set new Freight All Kinds (FAK) rates out of Asia from January 15 until further notice but not beyond January 31. From Asia to north Europe, new rates are set at US$1,250 per TEU, $2,400 per FEU, $2,450 per FEU high cube and $2,450 per cent FEU reefer.
From Asia to the west Mediterranean, new rates are set at US$1,300 per TEU, $2,400 per FEU, $2,450 per FEU high cube and $2,450 per cent FEU reefer.
From Asia to the Adriatic, rates are set at $1,600 per TEU, $2,500 per FEU, $2,450 per FEU high cube and $2,450 per cent FEU reefer.
From Asia to the Black Sea, rates are set at $1,300 per TEU, $2,400 per FEU, $2,500 per FEU high cube and $2,500 per cent FEU reefer.
