    FRENCH shipping giant CMA CGM is implementing a rate restoration, covering all ports in Asia to the Red Sea, effective April 1

    FRENCH shipping giant CMA CGM is implementing a rate restoration, covering all ports in Asia to the Red Sea, effective April 1. As a result all dry, out of gauge (OOG), breakbulk and reefer cargo will be subject to a charge of US$150 per TEU.

    Corresponding FAK rates level will be settled as of April 1 as follows: $1,100 per TEU and $1,800 per 40-foot unit (FEU) from all China base ports to Jeddah and Sokhna.
