    FRENCH shipping giant CMA CGM is to implement a port congestion surcharge in Bejaia, Algeria where the shipping company explained that 'port congestion is currently generating service disruptions and increasing our operational costs'. The port congestion surcharge of US$200/EUR175 per TEU will be levied on imports starting from August 1 (B/L date), except for US trades (from August 20, 2019), according to AJOT.
