FRENCH shipping giant CMA CGM will levy new Freight All Kinds (FAK) rate increases of US$1,050 per TEU, $1,800 per FEU, $1,850 per FEU high cube and $1,850 FEU reefer on Asia-Europe cargo effective June 1 until further notice, but not beyond June 15. This will apply to all dry cargo OOG, paying empties and reefer boxes from Asian ports including Japan, southeast Asia and Bangladesh to all northern European ports including the UK and the full range from Portugal to Finland and Estonia.
