FRENCH shipping giant CMA CGM has set new shipping rates from Asia to North Africa from July 15 but not beyond July 31, the company announced. Thus, rates from Asia to Algeria will be US$2,000 per TEU, $3,800 per FEU and $3,875 per FEU high cube.
Rates from Asia to Tunisia will be $1,900 per TEU, $3,600 per FEU and $3,675 per FEU high cube.
Rates from Asia to Libya will be $1,750 per TEU, $3,300 per FEU and $3,375 per FEU high cube.
Rates from Asia to Morocco will be $1,600 per TEU, $3,300 per FEU and $3,075 per FEU high cube.
All outports in Asia and North Africa will be subject to additional surcharges.
