In one of the dives carried out by the ROV to the 'Rigel' at a depth of 93 meters, it detected a closed liferaft container, which triggered a series of questions about its functionality. With favorable weather conditions in the search area, located almost 200 kilometers from the city of Rawson Chubut, the rescue vessel 'Tango' continued to operate with the survey equipment one month after the shipwreck, in which eight crew members remained missing. Family members insisted on the need to check the accomodation area for bodies. The Prefectura did not yet give any signal regarding the possible participation of divers in the operation due to the complexity of the maneuvers at that depth.
