China's Yangzijiang Shipbuilding Group has won contracts for 22 vessels worth about US$980 million in the first quarter of 2026, reported Melbourne's Baird Maritime.
The company announced on March 31 that the deals include 17 containerships, four medium-range oil tankers, and one bulk carrier. The containerships comprise six units of 1,100 TEU, four units of 1,900 TEU, and seven units of 5,900 TEU capacity.
