    At Posidonia 2026, Turkish firms received appreciation certificates, highlighting their contributions to the maritime sector and fostering international

    ATHENS, JUNE 3, 2026 - During the Posidonia 2026 International Maritime Fair held in Athens, the capital of Greece, a delegation led by Tamer Kıran, Chairman of the Board of the İMEAK Chamber of Shipping (DTO), along with the Turkish Ambassador to Greece, Çağatay Erciyes, visited and inspected the booths of Turkish companies.

    Considered one of the most significant gatherings in the global maritime sector, the Posidonia Fair facilitated meetings with leading companies in the Turkish maritime industry.

    In discussions with industry representatives, the delegation evaluated the international activities of the Turkish maritime sector, cooperation opportunities, and current developments within the industry. Certificates of appreciation were presented to several firms that stood out for their contributions to the maritime sector, as part of the National Participation Organization organized by the Ship, Yacht, and Services Exporters Association.

    The certificates of appreciation were awarded by Tamer Kıran, Chairman of the Board of the İMEAK Chamber of Shipping, and Çağatay Erciyes, the Turkish Ambassador to Greece.

    Additionally, an important step was taken to strengthen institutional collaborations within the Turkish maritime sector during Posidonia 2026. A cooperation protocol was signed between Türk Loydu and Turkish P&I, reaching an agreement on the development of joint efforts between the two organizations.

    Posidonia 2026, which brings together global stakeholders in the maritime sector, stands out as one of the significant organizations that highlights the effectiveness, competitiveness, and growing cooperation potential of the Turkish maritime sector on international platforms.
