Celestyal's new 'Iconic Arabia' program debuts with a promotional cruise for global travel agents in the Arabian Gulf, showcasing key destinations.
Thirty global travel agency representatives participated in a cruise exploration tour in the Arabian Gulf as part of the launch of Celestyal Discovery and the 2025 'Iconic Arabia' program.
Celestyal hosted these travel professionals in collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Department of Culture and Tourism. Representatives from various countries, including Germany, Spain, Greece, France, and Turkey, attended to promote the new 'Iconic Arabia' programs and to experience the inaugural voyage of Celestyal Discovery in the region.
The five-day promotional program began with a two-night stay at the Grand Hyatt hotel in Abu Dhabi. The itinerary included visits to the Louvre Abu Dhabi, the Natural History Museum, Ferrari World, TeamLab Phenomena Abu Dhabi, and the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, all organized by the Abu Dhabi Department of Culture and Tourism.
The promotional trip continued with a three-night cruise aboard the 1,360-passenger Celestyal Discovery. The tour featured stops in Dubai and Sir Bani Yas Island, where a themed land tour experience titled 'Closer to Nature' was offered.
The new 'Iconic Arabia' program will feature round-trip voyages departing from Abu Dhabi with Celestyal Discovery. Destinations include Ras Al Khaimah in the UAE (for the first time), as well as Doha in Qatar; Khasab in Oman; and Dubai and Sir Bani Yas Island in the UAE.
The 2025/26 Arabian Gulf winter season, which will operate with two ships, signifies a 211% annual increase in capacity for Celestyal. During this season, the 1,260-passenger Celestyal Journey will continue the 7-night 'Desert Days' program.
Jo Reid, Celestyal's Head of Strategic Partnerships for Europe and Country Director for the UAE, commented on the significance of the promotional trip: 'Hosting 30 travel professionals for pre-accommodation and a 3-night Celestyal Discovery voyage was a perfect opportunity to showcase the vibrant spirit of the Arabian Gulf, from the cultural treasures of Abu Dhabi to the serene beaches of Sir Bani Yas Island. Supporting our agency partners is one of the core elements of our vision, and such promotional trips enable them to present our Arabian Gulf itineraries to their customers more effectively.'
