Cebu Pacific has renewed and expanded its long-term partnership with Jettainer, reported London's Air Cargo Week.

The early renewal covers continued unit load device management and maintenance services, alongside the introduction of Jettainer's latest IoT tracking technology. The partnership began in 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic with remote onboarding and has since grown as Cebu Pacific expanded its fleet and network.

Cebu Pacific now operates 100 aircraft, including 14 Airbus A330neo, and has become the preferred air cargo carrier in the Philippines. Jettainer will provide a customised ULD fleet managed via its JettwareNG platform, ensuring equipment availability across Cebu Pacific's operations.

The agreement includes access to Jettainer's IoT tracking solution, which uses LoRa and BLE technology with cellular-enabled units. The system creates a dynamic network that improves visibility, optimises asset use, and reduces repositioning, supporting sustainability goals.

Jettainer will also assign a dedicated Customer Service Manager to Cebu Pacific, providing on-site support and enhancing service quality. Cebu Pacific Chief Operations Officer Javier Massot said Jettainer's reliability and innovation have supported efficiency and sustainability.

Jettainer Chief Sales Officer Thorsten Riekert said customer satisfaction through operational excellence remains central to its mission, adding that the company looks forward to continuing its growth trajectory with Cebu Pacific.
