Caterpillar Marine is pleased to announce that UZMAR Workboat and Tug Factory will be building an 80 TBP, Robert Allan designed, IMO Tier III certified tugboat powered with the new generation Cat® 3516E 2525bkW engines, and Cat C7.1 118ekW generators with Selective Catalytic Reactor (SCR) systems to fulfill IMO Tier III certification requirements. This is not only the first IMO Tier III in Turkey but also in Europe.
