MANY PRODUCTS FROM MEDICINE TO FUEL WERE ON BOARD
Speaking to ERT, Konstantinos Stilianu, President of the South Aegean Truckers Association, said that there was meat, grocery products, medicine, equipment, clothing, furniture and fuel on the ship, which were planned to be delivered to two islands.
Stilianu stated that the disruption in shipment may affect daily needs on the islands and that if an alternative solution is not found, there may be problems in the supply of some products.

A fire broke out in the morning on the Greek-flagged cargo ship "Blue Carrier 2".
After the fire, a total of 29 people on the ship, including 28 personnel and a truck driver, were evacuated by lifeboats.
