Cargo ship grounded and breached

The "KM KTC 1" ran aground on Oct 5, 2017, a few minutes past midnight north of Karang Jamuang island, north of Surabaya, in position 06 53S 112 44E, after hitting an underwater rock. The vessel was breached and developed a list, the 16 cre wmembers were evacuated. The ship was en route to Perawang, Pekanbaru, Central Sumatra, with a cargo of limestone.
