Cargo ship aground in Oslo Fjord

Enroute from Cadiz to Oslo the "Ocean Voyager" ran aground in the Oslo Fjord in the morning of Dec 8, 2017, around 7 a.m. The ship got stuck near the Storegrunn lighthouse in the Drøbak Sound, north of Askholmene at Drøbak in Akershus. There was no risk to life or the environment. The lifeboat "Bergesen d.y." went on standby, and the tug "John" (IMO: 9008641) was deployed from Slagen. It reached the grounding site at 9 a.m. A first attempt to pull the ship off failed. Now the tide was going out. Also the tug "Gyltingen" (MMSI: 257358800) was deployed to the grounding site.
