    M/V Ore Fabrica, which belongs to Seamar Shipping Corporation with a overall length 322 meters, breadth 56 meters and a deadweight of 28,0815 tons, successfully sailed out from Jiangsu Xinrong Shipyard after upgrading from bulk carrier to self-unloading ship.

The major work included: loading system installation and 5 sets crane installation; accommodation port side and starboard side generator room newly fabrication and emergency control room modification; four sets of new generators installation and the control system modification, including the switchboard conversion; accommodation upgrading and associated system modification; old winch abbreviation and reposition; 3 sets electric-winch newly installation and accessories cables laying; hopper flushing system newly installation; crane jib transportation and reposition and so on. In the progressively competitive coal transportation market, self-unloading coaler is more and more popular for its advantages such as low berth investment price, short discharge time, fast turnover period.
