    Boxship MSC Maria refloated at 1030 May 05 with the help of two tugs, no spill reported. Vessel towed to Coal Harbour Road, S-Petersburg, and anchored for inspection.

    Boxship MSC Maria refloated at 1030 May 05 with the help of two tugs, no spill reported. Vessel towed to Coal Harbour Road, S-Petersburg, and anchored for inspection. Boxship MSC Maria was grounded in 59 58.24N 029 46.42E at 1410 LT May 04 2011 with pilot on board, enroute from S-Petersburg to Rotterdam. Rudder jammed at 20 deg starboard angle, at a speed 5 knots vessel stuck bottom running out of channel near Voyennaya Gavan, Kronshtadt island. Starboard anchor went away but not lost. Draft loss bow 0.8 meter, aft 0.6 meter, no list. No holes and spill reported, no assistance required. Refloating to begin at 0930 LT May 05, two tugs standing by.  MSC Maria IMO 8201703, dwt 21370, capacity 1788 TEU, built 1985, flag Panama, manager Compania Naviera Maria S.A.
