The storm that affected the Yaka Neighborhood in the Çayeli district of Rize caused massive waves along the Black Sea Coastal Road. The strong winds and rising sea waves submerged some sections of the road.
The seawater that overflowed onto the road created difficult situations for drivers, leading to disruptions in traffic flow in the area.
Additionally, social living areas located along the coast were also damaged due to the impact of the waves.
