BIDDING the concession to operate the Diamond Harbour container terminal in Kolkata for INR150 billion (US$2.5 billion) is expected to end over the next three months, after five companies have been short listed for the final stage.
Finalists are Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd, APM Terminals, the consortium of Concast Infratech Ltd and Hyundai Engineering and Construction Co Ltd, the consortium of IL&FS Maritime Infrastructure and Pembinaan Redzai Sdn Bhd and Hindustan Ports Pvt Ltd.
