Barge towed to Duisburg

Divers patched the breaches in the hull of the "Mabrena“ on Feb 22 so far, that the ship could leave the port of Neuss at 2 p.m. bound to Duisburg, arriving in basin B at 5 p.m. The pumps of the fire brigade Duisburg had continued working during the stay in Neuss, also the Water Guard was on scene during that time. The cause of the water ingress still remained to be investigated.
