RUSSIA's AirBridgeCargo (ABC) has engaged Aviation Capital Group (ACG) to finance part of the purchase of a Boeing 747-8F, reports London's Air Cargo News. The all-cargo carrier's financing mandate is to 'structure, arrange, and provide a guarantee' for a senior loan was awarded to the US-based aircraft operating lessor under ACG's Aircraft Financing Solutions (AFS) programme.
'ACG is extremely pleased to have this opportunity to work with ABC. The award of a financing mandate from ABC is a notable achievement and an important milestone, as it will be the first aircraft transaction funded under the AFS programme,' said Aviation Capital managing director Bob Roy.
Said Russian parent company Volga-Dnepr Group's vice-president Tatiana Arslanova: 'Expansion of our fleet and network is a part of our strategy and we are delighted to partner with ACG to be a part of our success.
