Swimming is prohibited today in Trabzon, Giresun, Rize, and Artvin due to adverse weather conditions, prioritizing public safety.
In a statement from the Trabzon Governorship, it was noted that, according to the latest meteorological assessments, swimming in the sea has been prohibited throughout the province on Sunday, July 5.
The statement emphasized, 'It is of utmost importance that this decision, taken to ensure the safety of our citizens, prevent drowning incidents, and avoid potential tragic events, is strictly adhered to.'
In statements from the governorships of Giresun, Rize, and Artvin, it was also reported that due to adverse weather conditions, swimming will not be permitted at any beaches or coastal areas today.
