During a river cruise on the route Yaroslavl - Perm - Yaroslavl, which started in Yaroslavl on Aug 13, 2018, the 'Kapitan Pushkaarev' allided with the pier in Udmurtia in the morning of August 17. There were 147 passengers, including six children, and 49 crew members on board. The ship suffered damage to the paintwork of the bow. The canopy of the passenger area on the pontoon and the duty room of the pontoon were damaged too. A navigational mistake and strong winds contributed to the accident. The ship continued the voyage at 2 p.m.
