The 'Skjoldnæs' suffered an allision on Aug 15, 2018, at 8.55 a.m. in Søby so that all departures from Søby to Faaborg and Fynshav had to be canceled for the rest of the week while repairs were carried out. The bow port had hit the lift tower of the shoreside ramp. The ship entered the Søby Shipyard for repairs.
