On Sep 19, 2018, at midday the 'Caldera Vista' allided with the quay at the port of Naxos during its mooring operations. The ferry operating a scheduled service from Heraklion-Thira with the next and final destination Mykonos and had 220 passengers on board, none of whom was injured. The ship suffered a dent at the port side stern above the waterline . measunring 20 by 20 centimeters. The passengers aboard as well as 75 still waiting in the port of Naxos were carried on b the 'Champion Jet 1' to their destinations. The 'Caldera Vista' was detained by the Port Authority of Naxos until the presentation of a class confirmation by the attending classification society.
