    Allision in Amsterdam caused considerable damage

    Coming from Nieuwegein, the "Poolzee", 3517 ts (EU-No.: 02326258), allided with the river cruise ships "Angela Esmee" (EU-No.: 03310386) and "Anna Maria Agnes" (EU-No.: 02211655) in the morning of Oct 15, 2017. Both ships were docked alongside each other at the Sumatra Quay in Amsterdam. At the time of the accident there were no passengers were on board the docked ships. The "Anna Maria Agnes" suffered considerable damage when she was pushed against the quay. Several windows were broken and the bow was also damaged. The bow and the hull of the "Poolzee" were damaged too. Rescue services, including the fire brigade, were soon on scene. No injuries were reported. The "Poolzee" berthed in the Jan van Riebeck Port in Amsterdam following the allision.
