    Sailings between Lolland and Langeland had to be suspended in the afternoon of Sep 14, 2018. The 'Langeland' on the route between Tårs on Lolland and Spodsberg allided with the breakwater during the entry to Spidsbjerg at 1 p.m. The ferry had turned when the accident happened as she did not reverse as she should have done. There was damage to four cars that were on the deck, but no one have been injured. The cars and passengers were allowed to leave shortly after the accident. The Danish Maritime Authority detained the ferry for investigatiions. She was released by the authorities shortly after 5 p.m. While there have been no major damage, it was large enough for the shipping company to send the ferry directly to the yard in Svendborg. It will take a few days before she is back in operation again. The 'Lolland' was to be inserted as a replacement in the evening. The accident meant that there were a lot of queues in both portsl. All those who could not come by the ferry that they can get their tickets refunded.
