    All ferry services to Gökçeada and Bozcaada are suspended indefinitely due to severe winds and high waves in the Çanakkale Strait.

    The nightmare of storms in the Çanakkale Strait and Islands line continues! Due to giant waves and strong winds, all ferry services to Gökçeada and Bozcaada have been suspended indefinitely.

    Mother Nature has taken control in Çanakkale, and transportation has come to a standstill! The severe storm and raging waves that have affected the region have virtually cut off the Gökçeada and Bozcaada lines from the world. GESTAŞ Maritime Transportation Inc. announced that all services planned for tomorrow have been completely canceled due to adverse weather conditions. Citizens who had travel plans have fallen victim to the storm.

    All ferry services planned for tomorrow on the Gökçeada and Bozcaada lines have been canceled due to the storm.

    In a statement from GESTAŞ Maritime Transportation Inc., which provides transportation across the Çanakkale Strait and Islands line, it was announced that all Kabatepe-Gökçeada and Geyikli-Bozcaada services for tomorrow have been canceled due to adverse weather conditions in the region.

    The statement also indicated that transportation on other routes would proceed normally.
