    The 13th Ship Engineering Summit at Yıldız Technical University connects maritime industry leaders with students for knowledge sharing and career opportunities.

    The 13th Ship Engineering Summit, which brings together the maritime sector and academia in Istanbul, has commenced at the Yıldız Technical University Beşiktaş Auditorium.

    The opening speech of the summit, organized by the Yıldız Technical University Ship and Maritime Club (GEMDEK), was delivered by Rear Admiral Recep Erdinç Yetkin, Commander of the Istanbul Shipyard. The summit aims to facilitate knowledge and experience sharing by bringing together industry representatives and students.

    As part of the summit, experts from the defense industry, classification societies, and shipyards are meeting with participants. Turkish Lloyd, ASFAT, and representatives from the private sector are participating in the event to share current developments in the sector and career opportunities.

    On the second day of the event, company booths will be set up, allowing students to directly communicate with industry representatives. This aims to contribute to the career planning of young engineering candidates.

    The summit, which connects academia with the industry, aims to contribute to the development of Turkey's shipbuilding and maritime sectors.
