The 'Ocean Nhava Sheva' in pos 22 02 00N, 091 46 50E, at the Chittagong outer anchorage was boarded by robbers on July 19, 2018, at 5 p.m. The robbers stole three mooring ropes and escaped. The duty crew noticed the theft on the next scheduled rounds. They notified the Bangladesh Coast Guard, who dispatched a patrol vessel to the location. The Coast Guard vessel searched the waters around the area and was able to identify the robber's boat and recover the stolen mooring ropes, which were returned to the vessel.
