MYANMAR
28 Nisan günü Yangon Nehri üzerin-
de Thilawa Limanı yakınlarında meydana gelen kaza-
da Panama bayraklı 139 Metre uzunluğundaki araba
gemisi Malacca Highway, 63,5 metre uzunluğundaki
Myanmar bayraklı tanker Myan-Aung ile çarpıştı.
Kazadan sonra tanker alabora olarak battı. Tankerin
17 kişilik mürettebatı, Myanmar Deniz Kuvvetleri’ne
ait bir gemi tarafından kurtarıldı.

collided on Apr 28 13 with car carrier
Malacca Highway on Yangon river at around 15:00
LT near Thilawa port. Myan-Aung was on the way
to Yangon. Tanker sank, reportedly after capsizing,
17 crew rescued by Myanmar navy ship. Malacca
Highway reportedly detained in Yangon for inves-
tigation.

TWO people drowned and
eight are still missing after two cargo ships col-
lided off south-western Greece early on Monday,
29 April.
The drowned and missing crew were from the
Pirireis, sailing under a Cook Islands flag, which
was in a collision with the ConSouth carrier
about 75 nautical miles off the islet of Sapienza.
The German-owned ConSouth, sailing under an
Antigua-Barbuda flag, was not seriously damaged
and its crew of 16 was reported safe. Turkish-owned
Pirireis had a crew of 17. The ConSouth ship recov-
ered two drowned with eight still missing,

The passenger boat “Kalamis” was in a head-on collision with the “Erdem Karadeniz” off Haydarpasha at Sarayburnu, near
the Topkapı Palace in the morning of May 4, 2013. The accident happened due to heavy fog. Three passengers were injured. The “Kalamis”
was crossing from Kadikoy to Karakoy when it hit the “Erdem Karadeniz” of Dentur Avrasya. The injured passengers were transferred to
land by the fast rescue boats “Kiyem 3” and “Kiyiemniyeti 4” as well as the “Kurtama 5” of the Turkish Coastal Safety Administration.
Piri Reis gemisinden 8 mürettebata ulaşılamadı.
4 Mayıs 2013 günü Kadıköy-Karaköy seferi yapmakta olan Kalamış adlı şehir hatları vapuru, Kabataş-Adalar seferi
yapan Dentur Avrasya’ya ait Erdem Karadeniz adlı yolcu teknesi ile saat 11:50 sularında Haydarpaşa Mendireği
önlerinde çarpıştı. Kazada Erdem Karadeniz sancak tarafta su seviyesinin üstünden hasar gördü. Erdem Karadeniz adlı
teknede bulunan 70 yaşlarında Arabistan uyruklu olduğu tahmin edilen 2 turist ile 6 yaşlarında bir çocuk yaralandı.
