SeaNews Turkey’de yer alan
habere göre, Genel Denizcilik’e ait 274 Metre
uzunluğundaki Profit adlı tanker ile 190 metre
uzunluğundaki Imperial Spirit adlı dökme yük
gmisi Galveston açıklarında çarpıştı. 30 Mayıs günü
meydana gelen kazada ölen ya da yaralanan olmadı.
Her iki gemide maddi hasar meydana geldi. Deniz
kirliliği rapor edilmedi. Sabah saat 05:50 sularında
meydana gelen kazayla ilgili soruşturma açıldı.

GALVESTON
On 30 May 2013, the 274 m crude
oil tanker of Turkish Geden Lines; “Profit” was
in collision with the 190 m bulk carrier “Imperial
Spirit” which was enroute Houston-Lagos approxi-
mately 30 miles off the coast of Galveston on May
30, 2013. There has been no report of injury or
pollution from either vessel; however, both vessels
were reporting damage but were in stable condition.

The passenger ferry “İlyas Mert” built for Turyol by the Med Yilmaz shipyard of Ereğli region, launched on 8 June. Built under classifica-
tion of Turkish lloyd, the passenger ferry has a length of 41.95 m. and breadth of 9.30 m. Built using the state-of-the art technologies, the boat
complies with EU standards. The vessel built in 1 year at Med Yılmaz shipyard using 235 tons of steel plate.

tamamlanan Kaptan İlyas Mert isimli Yolcu Motoru 08.06.2013 tarihi itibari ile düzenlenen törenle denize indirildi. Türk Loydu
Standartlarına göre inşaa edilen bu yolcu motorunun tam boyu 41.95m ve genişliği 9.30m olup, toplam 900 yolcu kapasitesine
sahip. Zonguldak / Ereğli ilçesinde 235 Ton saç kullanılarak inşaa edilen yolcu moturu Avrupa birliği standartlarına uygun
olarak gelişen son teknoloji ile donatıldı ve çevre sağlığına uygun tüm tedbirler alınarak 1 yılda tamamlandı.

konuşan Yusuf Öztürk; Aliağa gemi geri dönüşüm sanayi
bölgesinde 2012 yıl sonu itibarıyla 282 gemi söküldüğünü
söyledi. Yusuf Öztürk; “Gemi geri dönüşüm sanayi böl-
gesi olarak ilk günden bu güne kadar Türk ekonomisine 10
milyar dolar katkıda bulunmuştur.” dedi.
