The 'Silver Kenna' sailing in ballast with a crew of 14 on board, experienced an engine blackout nine miles southeast of Beachy Head, in the TSS, in position 50 36.167 N, 00 23.183 E, on March 10, 2018, at 10 a.m. The NMOC had coordination and CNIS kept communication on channel 11. The repairs were completed and the vessel was underway again at 10.37 a.m. 14,45 nautical miles from New Haven.
