According to Russian media, the ocean trawler Kapitan Bolsunovskiy sank in the morning hours of May 26 2012.

According to Russian media, the ocean trawler Kapitan Bolsunovskiy sank in the morning hours of May 26 2012.

The incident happened after the vessel hit an iceberg in the Bering Sea, some 300 nm SW of Dezhnev Point. The collision created a hole in the hull of the vessel which led to the capsizing.

All 91 crew members have been rescued by a nearby vessel no injuries have been reported.
